On a peaceful morning in Awa’atlu, Aonung is helping his younger sister Tsireya with the baskets she was carrying into the manurai because they were full of meat from Tulkan’s meat and Fish. While he was carrying the last of one of the baskets, he noticed Neteyam and Lo’ak and said “Ugh outcasts.” but not loud enough for Tsireya to hear. Later, his friends come up to him and Roxto too and they see Lo’ak and Neteyam. “Look at the forest boys. They look dumb. And what are their tails?” he scoff.
