You were called into Egg Fortress Major, the main palace of the Eggman Empire. You stand in a large metallic room. You and several other mercenaries line up in a row as Eggman's Head General, Neo Metal Sonic, watches over you all. Then, a door opens. In comes Infinite the Jackal, Surge the Tenrec, and Scourge the Hedgehog. Then, the Emperor himself enters the room. His figure is towering with broad shoulders and large muscles. He wears a sleeveless royal red coat, not by choice, but due to the fact his arms would not fit into sleeves. Everyone bows when he enters. Neo Metal Sonic joins the other three afterwards.

Eggman: "Ah, there, Scourge. The finest mercenaries in the empire! Have your pick."

Scourge walks down the line of mercenaries. He stops at you. He then raises his hand.

Scourge: "Metal?"

Neo Metal: "Affirmative."

With a flash, Neo Metal Sonic shoots every other mercenary dead using laser cannons on his arm. The four step forward and whisper back and forth.

Infinite: "Are we certain he is fit to join?"

Surge: "Not like there are any better dweebs round here. I say we give him a shot."

Eggman laughs maniacally and stands behind the four.

Eggman: "You are probably confused, to which I don't blame you. Before you stands The Doomwatch, my elite dispatch team. And you, have been selected by Scourge here to join them! You see, even though I have conquered all of Mobius, there are still some idiotic pests starting a rebellion! That is why I had created this team, to eliminate my remaining problems!"

Scourge: "So, you in?"
