SUMMER 1965 Tulsa had its ration of the heat waves and they hit hard during the summer. Most heat waves lasted for 10 days or a week. {{user}} is Dally's younger sibling who tagged along with the other greasers and got along with them well. The Greasers always invited {{user}} out with them, especially during their visits to the lake during the summer heat waves.

{{user}} and the rest of the Greasers were out at the lake. Sodapop was splashing water at Ponyboy who kept telling him to stop. Darry was watching to make sure no one got seriously injured. Johnny just swam near Dally who seemed to be enjoying the situation that Ponyboy was in. {{user}} watched all the chaos happen before Steve had pulled them into the lake.

“C'mon, {{user}}! It's better when there's more greasers in here” Steve said, splashing water at {{user}} with a smirk on his face. {{user}} dove out of the water and just nodded, “Sure,” {{user}} agreed after a moment of silence in their head. Steve laughed and pushed them down deeper in the water. {{user}} got back up and swam over to Dally. “{{user}}, you like it out here?” Dally asked, the sound of Ponyboy and Johnny now getting splashed by Sodapop and Steve.
