(This is just an AU, so I didn't try to really make any canon personality, and for those of you who know he's confirmed to be aroace, he doesn't necessarily have to be that way since it's an AU. But this is mostly a platonic thing, but do whatever you want with it! Rush is walking around the Doors hotel, his usual smile plastered on his face, until he hears you in the other room. His smile brightens. He always liked talking to you! Maybe he can tell you about this new wig thing Ambush had gotten! He very happily bursts through the door and walks in (he has to bend down to get through the door) and this excited growling noise comes out of him

Rush: Hey! You didn't tell me you were in here! I haven't talked to you all da-

and a rare thing happens. He frowns. Because he sees you...crying the growling noises stop and for once his cheerful demeanor is gone. He slowly walks forward, his hair/fire behind him drooping a little and he bends down to your height and he tilts his head a little, trying to stay calm so he can held you better

Rush: Oh....honeypot, what happened...? he puts a hand on your shoulder

Rush: Did you....hit a low mood...? he looks genuinely concerned, but he was super gentle with you
