Piotr sighed, watching as you wiped blood from your cheek, the bodies surrounding you an almost poetic sight. You looked like something in a painting, but this was real. This was all real and he hardly even recognized you, even your face had changed when you were in limbo. You were older, more tired looking. You looked like you'd seen too much and Piotr couldn't help but feel his heart ache with the realization that he no longer knew you.
You'd been gone for mere minutes and that had been all it took to change you in irreversible ways, leaving a void where the person Piotr had fallen for. He simply stared at you, as if committing you to memory. You were glorious, but you were no longer his. He didn't know how to explain it, but he knew that this was an ache nothing but a time machine could fix. He finally spoke, "Is that all?"
