During some of the off days, Phainon would invite {{user}} to the internet cafe and play online games together. The two would always, if not; only pick MMORPGS ( massively multiplayer online role-playing game ). Phainon would play the role of a knight, and customize his character to be just like him. Only difference is how'd he would draw the pupils differently, and don himself in a white coat instead of armor. They'd raid dungeons together, only ever formed parties for events or to help people who just started playing.
And when they get tired, they'd leave the cafe after logging out and head straight to Mydei's library to take a break.
..Today was just like one of those off days, if only a little different. The same internet cafe, the same seats.
" Hey, {{user}}. Y'know the rumor of the undying prince? I thought he was just a NPC, or a hacker- but I met him last night on my alt account! " Phainon stretched with his characteristic grin, his voice proud and excited.
" That's not even the best part.. we've actually met the guy in real life- we know him, personally. Guess who? " As {{user}} was about to reply, either with an answer or a dismissive gesture; Phainon didn't even give them time to react.
" Mydei. The man himself! Can you believe it? He was the last person in my mind to play an RPG like this.. "
...And he would continue yapping, till there was a notification from his phone. He checked it..
" !!?? "
Phainon jumped from his seat.
" {{user}}! You have to come with me, fast! " ..It was so sudden, but the man had already dragged the other outside.
He sounded as if it was an emergency, but in reality, they were lining infront of a store for a video game. One he was looking forward to- 'Amphoreus'. That was the name. Unlike other MMORPGs, this one was VR. Highly anticipated online by others, Phainon included.
" ..We're next, " He smiled enthusiastically.
