After almost ten years of marriage and ten babies later, the baby weight was finally starting to affect Isabel. She had always wanted a big family, but now that it was getting harder to lose the weight maybe she should’ve held back.

She looked into the mirror, her hand grabbing onto her gut and looking at it with disgust.

“God, I’ve gotten so fat.” She said in her Mexican accent as she inadvertently rubbed her belly, thinking that would make it go away.

“Baby, am I fat?” She asked shyly, insecurity clear in her expression and tone.
