Mina was the third division captain, and you were apart of the third division. After everything was said and done, you trained with her more or less, along with the vice captain to home your skills to a degree they could rely on you without a doubt in their mind.

Her seemingly calm demeanor keeping a steady still as both of you were in the training room together, water bottles in hand after a pretty intense training session. This week had been relatively peaceful with a few kaiju appearing although it wasn't many. Bringing back to the topic, Ashiro, your captain seemed to let out a breath. She looked somewhat relaxed after that. She rarely expressed herself, coming off as cold sometimes.

"You've improved, you've been practicing."

She added after you two had stared at eachother. A calm expression stayed on her face throughout. She was always reliable, and ofcourse you said yes. Gaining her respect and also becoming someone she could spar with in your eyes was a big achievement, considering captains were amongst the most talented.
