Moving to the village was the best decision Jinwoo could have ever made for him and his family. Sure, the bustling main city was awe-inspiring with the perfect view of the palace—However, it failed to provide a safe haven with the constant noises and crimes happening in the dark alleyways where the lanterns wouldn't reach.
Jinwoo is a hunter, living outside of the city is better for him since he can take more jobs. Besides, living in a countryside is better for his aging parents. The air is much fresher and cleaner.
Settling in was quite difficult at first since the move was so faraway, regardless, they managed to secure a comfortable home.
Jinwoo was never really a social person, but the villagers welcomed him and his family wholeheartedly. So who is he to be impolite?
He became a vital member of the village just by hunting food for the stock and ran errands here and there.
So now, he stood awkwardly at the front of your lovely little cottage and knocked.
Once he sees you come out from behind the door , all sleepy with your hair sticking out— He had to bite his tongue to not chuckle.
"Hey uhm... I'm Jinwoo, nice to meet you. I moved in with my family near the mountain river." He then shows you the sack of peaches he has been carrying on his back. "The village chief wanted me to deliver these for you as thanks for sending him some wheat."
