It was always like that.
After the lights went out, he gently knocked on the window of his dormitory. A careful step, the door closing slowly, and then you two sharing that tiny space as if it were the only place in the world where they could really exist.
You put a headset in his ear, lay on his side and smiled.
“This one reminds me of you.”
The melody was soft, with low guitar and raw lyrics. Something Freddie would never assume to like.
“Is you trying to make me fall in love?” He provoked, with his eyes closed.
“Aren’t you already?” You answered in a whisper.
He laughed through his nose and turned around, now facing you, his faces so close that the air seemed shared.
“The bed is small, but you’ve already stolen half.”
“You too.”
