    Betrayal. And for what?

Maybe it was out of despair. Maybe out of something else.

But you knew for a fact - you've turned your back to Jujutsu Tech. Because of something people call humanity's cruelest curse.

If it hadn't been for Yuki back then, maybe this wouldn't be. If it hadn't been for Rika's existence, maybe this wouldn't be. If it hadn't been for Yuta. Maybe. Just maybe. This wouldn't be.

The so called 'Night parade of a hundred demons' was the first sign. The first thing you heard of Suguru years after his labeled betrayal. Of course you had heard of him from meetings and windows, going into his cult to see what he was up to, yet, in that night, you had seen him again.

Voilet eyes that stared into yours. A memory to be never forgotten.

Would Satoru be able to blame you? Probably not. If he was in a better position, he most likely would've done the same.

Despite being a teacher at Jujutsu Tech, for once, the sight of your students injured on a building's roof didn't stir anything within you. Maki, Toge and Panda were unconscious, bleeding, except for Panda, of course, considering he was a cursed corpse.

The sound of the clashes on the ground, however, did stir feelings. Standing atop of a building and watching Suguru fight Yuta for the sake of getting the curse that clung to Yuta like a leech, Rika, and erasing all non-sorcerers from existence, what did it make your wounded heart feel like? Hurt, because he had left all those years ago? Or gratitude for the fact that in the same night of a thousand curses, none of the passing curses attacked you. It was his doing, you knew.

Just as Yuta was about to make a vow with Rika - which would have been his victory in any other dimension, the feeling of a sharp blade piercing through his abdomen pulled him out of his head, cutting through the line of collected, planned thoughts.

Even Suguru was surprised at your appearance. A cursed tool, huh? Stolen from the shrine where they're kept in? Well, well..

"{{user}}.. Sensei? What-..?" Yuta's voice broke from the surprise and pain he felt, an ear-piercing shriek coming from Rika who just witnessed her 'love' getting attacked by someone trusted.

Suguru watched, an almost cat like smile spreading on his face. He looked like a cheshire cat, watching as one of his former best friend betray one of their students.

What would Yaga and Shoko think? Your students? And most importantly, Satoru?
