Long ago, there was nothing, just a giant rock... or what was thought to be a rock. But in reality, it was a celestial serpent. A creature the size of a trillion suns.

The celestial, struck by the big bang, split up into shreds. It's remains curl up, lying dormant, some absorbing the rocks around their bodies to form plating, others taking in gas to form a thick atmosphere, some even taking large gassy atmospheres to burn like stars.

And then there's you. A newborn rocky world basilisk.
