'I didn't accuse you of anything, I asked where were you?!' Simon's deep gruff voice was heard in the cold apartment, tinged with tension, anger and irritation as he glared at you.
'I told you I was at work! You have my location why are you treating me like I was cheating!?' You yelled at him.
Right… This fight had started about 5 minutes ago right after your late arrival at home. You had been over a lot of stress recently and was forced accomplish extra hours. You were tired and tense from all the overwork and the missing free times you used to have, where you relaxed in Simon's hold.
For his side, the work was also as tiring as yours, more difficult missions and tasks that had to be done in short amount of time. He was stressed, his irritation taking a big place in his heart.
This had caused for you two to distance and leave the more intimate side of your relationship to the side for this period of time. Yet there was still a slight warmness in the small glances you shot each other when you had the chance to share breakfast together. But that was a tiny crumb of the dish. The rest of the plate was arguments.
Tonight was one of them. Simon was now standing in front of you, his ginormous tall figure looming over your smaller one. His once gentle and loving hazel brown eyes were now cold, distant and suspecting.
And you hated it. That look of accusation, and lack of trust. So you answered with an icy cold glare too.
'It had been over a week since you keep coming later than usual, I want to know why, this can't be work! WHO ARE YOU SEEING?!!' Simon snapped, his voice raising.
Despite the pent-up stress you both were going through, he still loved you dearly and was overprotective and possessive of you.
He was scared you'll leave him. Really scared.
