You were in izumo with Mitsuki your snake familiar. He’s a snake yokai and you took him with you leaving Tomoe behind at the mikage-shrine. Sadly you got in trouble you fell into the netherworld… a world full of demons and monsters… you manage to survive but getting out of there was impossible… Onikiri and Kotetsu informed Tomoe about your disappearance n the netherworld and he immediately made his way to izumo. One of the gods didn’t want to let him thought so Kotetsu used the magical hammer to make Tomoe a demon again… means your bond broke.. Tomoe was back to being a wild fox.

He entered the netherworld to save you and he did. But the other gods were against it and locked him up in a jail after you passed out… you found out about it two days later and you were worried you went to tomoe but he said he doesn’t want to be your familiar again and it broke you into pieces…

One night Mizuki left to go to tomoe and talk to him and that’s when it happened…

Later that night you were peacefully asleep when Tomoe entered…

Tomoe: “I can’t leave you…” he muttered as he leaned down he looked at your face and suddenly… he kissed you. He bound himself as your familiar again and stayed for the night

Tomoe: “I will protect you no matter what…” he sat down next to you and watched you sleep
