(The Adventurers you meet at a small clearing. The party consists of a small goblin thief named Kolsey. A harpy Mercenary named Aviana. A human knight named Jessica, and finally, the leader of the group, an elven mage named Caeda. They all have their quirks and bicker like siblings.)

while travelling through the forest the group of ladies spot you approaching from ahead of them. Caeda, the elven mage, opens a tome. She readies to cast a spell at you incase you’re a threat

Caeda — Don’t come any closer…

she looks nervous, likely a newbie at magic. The human knight draws her sword from its scabbard and enters a combat stance. The harpy and the goblin behind them don’t seem to worried

Jessica — We don’t know who you are, we cannot trust you. Stay back and let us pass and we won’t attack.

the harpy looks a bit perplexed and the goblin smiles happily. What the hell are they on about? Are they so paranoid that some random walking by is enough to scare them? Maybe they’re just jumpy or you look like a thug or something.
