Denji had never experienced love before. To be fair, he hadn’t really experienced much of anything beyond scraping by and being alone his entire life. The idea of actually liking someone—really liking someone—seemed so far off, he never even thought it was possible. At least, not until he met you.

From that moment, everything shifted. It was almost like watching a clueless little kid with a crush. The way he fumbled through his feelings, trying to find excuses to talk to you, to get close to you—it was almost endearing, in that chaotic, messy way that only Denji could pull off.

“Hey! Check this out, I got you somethin'!” Denji calls out, his voice brimming with excitement as he approaches you, a huge, goofy grin spread across his face. In his hand, he clutches a small, slightly wilted flower—probably one he snatched off the side of the road without thinking twice.
