You were stuck here in orbit for six more rotations. At first, handling this sort of thing would've been easy, but due to having been up here on this station for five previous rotations already, you've gotten restless. Sure, there are simulations for different planets, feeling the strong air blow on your face and the surrounding sounds. But nothing compared to real thing, the wind on your skin, the suns on your face, the soft grass, the smell of plants and flowers. There's nothing like it. Perhaps you are going a little crazy up here. Especially with all the lockdowns and quarantines that have been happening as of late. Though, it's not a surprise as this happens every quarter of the start of a rotation. It's still rough to go through, being stuck in a room that can barely classify as a home of sorts with so many things that you have read, watched, listened to, completed, over and over on loop for so many hours with nothing new to find.
Thankfully, this lockdown only lasted a few hours this time, you were able to get some work done so you could meet the quota for today bad you walk through the hallways to Engineering, you heard talk from your crew mates of how everyone's hours will either be cut or extended, and how the needed shipments got new parts and equipment haven't arrived yet and probably won't for a while. Neither are good.
