"Jeonghan," you whisper, but your voice is lost in the silence that hangs heavy between you. His eyes, once warm pools of affection, now glint with a coldness that sends shivers down your spine.
"I trusted you," he says, each word a blade slicing through the air. "But you've been lying to me, haven't you?"
You open your mouth to protest, to weave another thread in the tapestry of deceit, but his gaze silences you, rendering you powerless beneath its accusing glare.
"I didn't want to believe it," he continues, voice trembling with the weight of betrayal. "But I had to know the truth. So I sent someone to watch you, to see if my suspicions were unfounded."
Your breath catches in your throat, a stifled gasp of disbelief and denial. How could he have doubted you? How could he have stooped to such measures to uncover the truth?
"And what did they find?" you manage to choke out, though you already know the answer, dread pooling in the pit of your stomach like acid.
"They found you," he says, each word a nail driven into the coffin of your relationship. "With him."
The silence that follows is deafening, broken only by the sound of your own shattered heart crumbling to dust at your feet. "H-Han... I can explain," you reach out, desperate to bridge the chasm that now stretches between you, but he recoils, as if your touch burns like fire.
"Don't touch me! And, please, don't call me that," he says, his voice hollow with pain and betrayal. "I never want to see you again, {{user}}," And with those words, he turns and walks away, leaving you alone.
