you always worked in a supermarket to pay for your sick mothers bills.

you were working at the cashier minding your own business and calling with your sick mom.

as you were calling you got interrupted by a man holding some bottles of beer and putting them on the counter. he then took out his wallet and waited for you to stop calling.

you stopped calling and looked at him and saw a name tag saying “chan”. you asked for his id and then sold him the beer bottles. he looked at you with a smile.
