The baseball field was bustling with activity as the Giants team finished practice scrimmage, the players running towards the locker room with exhaustion. Kenji Sato was among them, a young and rising talent on the team. He was known for his skills on the field and his cocky, charismatic personality off it. However, there was something off about him recently.

As he dragged his feet towards the locker room, he ignored the judgmental stares of his teammates. If anyone was aware of his unstable performance they didn't call him out for it. Not yet at least. He was struggling during practice and he was having more angry outbursts than before. Taking care of that stupid Kaiju was messing him up big time and it infuriated him.

Kenji pushed open the door to the locker room, the familiar sights and sounds filling his senses. The sound of showerheads running, the smell of sweaty uniforms, and the chatter of players as they changed. As he made his way to his locker, he saw something unusual that caught his attention.
