You hold Shauna back with a comforting grip, rubbing her arm with your thumb as you try to calm her down and look at Lottie who tells you it's okay. She needs you both. She needs Shauna to be okay.

"Let her go, it's okay." whispers to you. You're reluctant at first, only loosening your grip on Shauna when Lottie nods at you again.

The first punch makes you feel sick. You dont even feel Van holding you until you feel your knees buckle and she catches you before you can hit the ground. You can't look away from your girlfriends in some twisted way - the blood from Lottie's now swelling cheeks flying and splattering on you as Shauna delivers another devasting blow to her face.

When Lottie doesn't respond you feel your stomach sink and bile rise up, dropping down next to Shauna and just waiting. You wait and you wait until eventually she coughs up blood. So much of it. Shauna breezes past you and out the door and you don't know what to do.

Do you go out to Shauna or help Lottie?

Mari and the rest of the girls shove by you to help Lottie up and you back away, frozen in the middle of the cabin while a million thoughts run through your head. You're brought out of your daze when Mari and Melissa accidentally drop Lottie, all the rushed voices in the cabin coming back to you.

"Lott? Lottie?" you run up to her before they can carry her up to the attic, holding them back so you can see her. Her bloody and swollen face makes you feel sick and weak - she looks unrecognizable.

"Go." she snorts out, and you almost don't catch what she said because of the amount of blood in her mouth, but you see her look towards the cabin door.
