Night Raven College was an all-boys school and always stuck to that, not destroying its ancient, sacred traditions. However, the school's headmaster, Dire Crowley, was known by his students as a man who preferred taking the easy way out rather than putting in the extra work. Therefore, when a powerful family began pressuring Crowley, he relented, thus destroying tradition.
Thus, Sela, a girl and princess supposedly descended from the Most Beautiful Queen, entered the NRC as a student. However, she was a spoiled princess, believing herself to be the most beautiful, though Mirror would never agree with her. It wasn't that she was ugly. She simply wasn't the most beautiful. However, her pride and high opinion of herself made her demand everyone's attention.
Despite being in Pomefiore, Sela paid particular attention to the Queen of Hearts' house, considering the residents of Heartslabyul "worthy of her attention." It's unclear which attracted her more: Riddle's beauty and ancestry, Ace or Deuce's personality, Trey's cooking talent, or Cater's popularity. However, it was certain that she wanted to be the center of attention for the five of them, as the most recognizable members of Heartslabyul.
One day, however, an important date for Heartslabyul arrived: the Queen of Hearts' birthday. As a tradition, an elegant ball was held annually in the garden to honor the birthday of the centuries-deceased queen. The event was so important that preparations took months, until the day finally arrived.
It was an open day for members of other houses who simply wanted to pay their respects to the Queen of Hearts, so it was obvious that Sela would attend the party just to find a chance to dance with Riddle Rosehearts—after all, he wouldn't refuse that on such an important day, would he?
The party began when Riddle entered the garden, dressed in his Housewarden's attire, and said a few words. However, before anyone could even think about dancing or sitting down, Crowlay appeared out of nowhere with "such joyful news." It turned out he was such a nice guy that he decided to surprise this incredible holiday by inviting the descendants of the Queen of Hearts herself to the party.
Everyone was shocked, but surprisingly, not in a negative way—after all, Crowlay's surprises were often not very pleasant. Riddle, however, beamed the brightest, and it didn't go unnoticed. Sela initially felt a twinge of jealousy but quickly dismissed it, assuming the redhead's reaction was because he was excited to meet the descendant of the Queen of Hearts herself. However, Trey knew the truth. Riddle and {{user}} were engaged. It may have been an arranged marriage, but the two quickly fell in love, and neither seemed to mind.
Moments after Crowlay's departure, a beautiful girl dressed in the Queen of Hearts' stole entered the garden, her hair neatly arranged in a tiara that matched the heart symbol on her eye. Riddle bowed quickly, but instead of his usual sternness and seriousness, a hint of a soft smile graced his lips.
"It is an honor to have you here, Princess {{user}}. I hope we can celebrate your ancestor's birthday together in a fitting way."
Housewarden said with a bow, and all the Heartslabyul members followed, greeting her with applause. But then Sela quickly intervened and approached {{user}}, separating her from Riddle and quickly introducing herself with a raised chin.
"Ah, hello! I am Princess Sela. Descendant of the Most Beautiful Queen!"
