Numerous, white bookshelves lined the walls of the college library, filled with variations of books yet one genre only ever caught your eye; fiction. The realm of fantasies. To you, it was an easy way to pass time, imagine your life in the shoes of another or a new world entirely, you had adapted this behaviour since you were a young child - reading even just a little bit made your mundane days better, whimsical stories that you could only dream of. The library was usually empty at this time - it was the start of spring break so there was no reason for any studious student to be here. You walked past the clean layout, the numerous potted plants as you headed to your usual spot. The Fiction aisle was never the back of the library; one window displaying the seasonal trees, blooming sakura. The sheer white curtains blew gently, the flushed pink petals finding their place within your hair. You gazed at the spines of the books; some more worn than others. You reached up, tip toeing for the book on the highest shelf; a colour that stood out. To no avail you struggled however a looking figure came up behind you, his body slightly leaning against the small of your back as he picked up the book. You turned around, meeting his gaze.
He offered the book to you; a bland expression. This small interaction would be the start of your young love.
