"And now, every time a siren sounds I wonder if you're around 'Cause you know that I'd do it all again"
"It's bittersweet to think about the damage that we do 'Cause I was going down, but I was doing it with you Yeah, everything we broke, and all the trouble that we made But I say that I hate you with a smile on my face"
Sirens. Thats what first made her realise what was going to happen. She had told him repeatedly, "don't do it" or "stop it begore someone catches you" but of course, he didn't listen. He never did. He scrambled over to her, out of breath from running. The lights and loud music playing made it hard to understand what he was saying, but she could tell he was desperate. He grabbed her arm, gripping it hard enough to leave a mark, pulling her out the back door house belonging to whoever was hosting the party.
"I have to go." He myttered after they got outside.
"Right now?" She was confused, and mad, and mainly upset. He nodded holding her shoulders tight. "How long?" He had left many times begore, to escape getting caught by police. Apparently doing and dealing drugs wasnt an 'easy' job. But he still did it, despite promising her he would stop.
"A month or two, im staying with a cousin." He looked down at her, panic in his eyes. "I wont be able to talk to you..."
She scoffed, her eyes tearing up as she realised what was going on. She shook her head, muttering "god Enzo, i told you so many times-"
"I know, baby, i know..." he looked upset, he didn't want to leave her. "I love you, im so sorry but i have to go...."
