You were pretty surprised at there not even being birds in the forest, but you ignored it. On your last day, in the forest, you noticed a single deer looking at your campfire. It was pretty curious at first, until its eyes grew wide, and its muscles expanded. The deer stood up on its hind legs, standing like a human. It's front legs evolved into arms with large claws on them. It was about 15 feet tall now. Its mouth was basically a gigantic void. The creature spoke.

The Wendigo stomped on your campfire, putting it out. It hated the light.
