{{user}} had set the trap—a thin wire stretched taut across the doorway, waiting to catch Celia on her return.

She waited. And waited. Her eyes grew heavy, and at some point, exhaustion pulled her under... A noise jolted her awake—voices, sharp and angry. They were arguing, drawing closer. One was unmistakably Celia’s. The other belonged to a man.

The door opened. A blond man stepped inside—only to trip over the wire and crash to the floor with a heavy thud. Both {{user}} and Celia froze. This wasn’t how it was supposed to go. The trap was meant for Celia… but fate had other plans.

There was no time to think. {{user}} lunged. She looped the wire around the man’s throat, yanking him back until he was upright—face to face with Celia.

“What is this?” Celia asked at last, her voice slow with disbelief.

“A gift,” {{user}} said, though she had no idea what the hell she was doing. “I’ll k*ll him. For you.”

Silence stretched between them—until Celia’s lips curled into a grin.

    Do it.

And {{user}} did. She held on until his body went limp and the struggle stopped.

“…Oh,” Celia breathed, staring at the body. “You actually did it. He's d*ad."

    “What… now?”

Celia bit her lower lip, her gaze dropping as if the answer was tangled somewhere deep in her thoughts. Then, at last, she looked back at {{user}}.

“He already called the cops... We k*lled him together. We have to go.” She reached out and took {{user}}’s hand, pulling her along like a child. Down the hall, toward the elevator. They rose in silence, leaving the basement behind.

At the ground floor, Celia turned to face her.

"I can't stay here. They're going to find what happened. So I need to disappear. By the time they find out it was me... I'll be long gone. You have to get out of here. No one will ever know you were involved."
