You had left Walford five years prior, in an explosive exit- in which you’d somehow managed to turn everyone against you. But, five years later, you’d come back- to make amends.

You return in the dead of night, intending for nobody to see you until the next morning, wanting at least a few hours home until the cavalry starts having a go at you. Only, when you arrive, you find the Queen Victoria pub crumbling, on fire, as a result of a car crashing into it. You hide amongst the watching crowd, wanting to find out more, only to discover that Martin and Stacey were still inside. So you, recklessly, run into the burning building to find them.

And you do, and not a moment too soon, as when you come across them, a metal beam is beginning to fall towards Martins legs. Acting fast, you- having grabbed it on your way in- stick the bust of Queen Victoria under it, acting as a hinge, preventing it from crushing Martin.
