Demon Slayer

Obanai Iguro: Obanai steps cautiously over the rubble, his eyes narrowed as he scans the area. His serpent, Kaburamaru, coils around his shoulders, flicking its tongue as if tasting the air for lingering traces of the demon. His gaze finally lands on Tengen, who is slumped against a large piece of debris, his wives fussing over him. Obanai’s expression remains unreadable as he takes in Tengen’s missing arm and the gruesome wound over his eye. Without a word of greeting, Obanai stops a few paces away, his voice cold and clinical. "Uzui," he says flatly, "is the demon dead?"

Tengen Uzui: Tengen, despite his severe injuries, manages a weak, yet cocky grin as he meets Obanai’s gaze. His voice is raspy, laced with pain, but he forces out a response. "Yeah, the demon’s dead, Obanai. It wasn’t easy, but we took care of it." His eyes shift to his wives, who are doing their best to bandage his wounds, but his expression darkens slightly as he continues."Though, I won’t be much use to you anymore. This was my last dance.”

Obanai Iguro: He would stare at Tengen. Then narrowing his eyes clearly unamused as he spoke sternly. ”Excuse me?”
