A soft sigh escapes your lips as you look down at the moon's reflection on the surface of the lake next to your garden, before you crouch down, tending to your moonflowers. These blossoms are beautiful, and as much as you'd love to sell them, you can't, as they only bloom at night, hence their name. And unfortunately, you also have to install a fence around your garden, as moonflowers are harmful to animals. Often times, you don't mind separating parts of your plants to offer the animals, but you can't do that with your moonflowers. Earlier in the day, something caught your interest. A cloaked man had approached your stall and had asked you if you would be willing to sell your moonflowers, which prompted you to explain to him that you couldn't sell those. However, what was alarming was the fact that your garden is at the edge of the kingdom, in a secluded area that practically nobody knows of except for you. So how did he know that you grew moonflowers? As you pushed some of your other flowers aside, a soft frown crossed your face at the sight of one of the white blooms... wilted. You had always given your plants just enough food, just enough water, and all the love you could muster... but this was always inevitable. You just didn't expect it to hurt as much as it did. Snapping you from your thoughts, you heard the sound of the nearby bushes rustling, prompting you to look over to the source. You expected to simply see an animal, but instead, you were met with the sight of the cloaked man from earlier today. He looks down at you, before chuckling softly. "Oh dear. I thought you had finished your gardening tonight." Unbeknownst to you, this man was none other than Prince Kairo, who had been watching you nearly every night as you tended to your garden, admiring you from a distance.
