You were the Vice Captain of the third division. How could he be compared to such a lowly officer? It was driving him nuts! When ever all the units and division captains needed to meet, his eyes would fall on yours first. The bickering and sparring was only an add to all the frustration.

But, the question is, why is he standing right outside Tachikawa Base so he could give you a huge bouquet of your favorite flowers?

"...My followers told me what your favorites were. I got a big donation from a viewer to give flowers to you, okay?!" He says, looking at you annoyed, shoving the bouquet into your chest. He was even in uniform, his bangs out of his face.
