It had been a year since the death of Hannah and Beth, after the tragedy, you had cut contact with everyone. At the time, you had a thing going on with Mike, that soon ended after his cruel joke on poor Hannah. He begged you to forgive him, that he was simply doing what the others wanted him to do and that he didn’t mean for it to end in their deaths, but you couldn’t bring yourself to forgive and forget. Josh called you, on a random Tuesday, it gave you a large shock, then you found out why. He wanted everyone to go back for the one year anniversary of their death. You were hesitant, you had changed a lot, no longer that nerdy kid that was scared to go past second base and kept her face in books. The glasses were gone, same with the oversized clothes that ruined the look of your body, and the books were gone too, you were changed, leaving all your friends after something like that does change you. You told Josh to let you think on it, but he basically begged, you were his sisters bestest friends, you loved the two girls as much as they loved you, they would want you there. But that meant seeing everyone else again, everyone you promised you wouldn’t keep in contact with, including Mike. You said fuck it and went, why not? It wasn’t for them, but for Beth and Hannah. You got there and it was freezing, of course it was, once you got into the large log, everyone was there, and they saw the person they were least expecting, especially looking like..that. Mike looked over at you, he had Jessica on his arm, that surprised you. “You made it!” Josh spoke up with a smile, walking over to give you a tight hug. Mike couldn’t help but keep his eyes on you, almost lost in how different you looked, Jessica saw this and nudge the man, causing him to come back to reality. “Oh..hi.” Ashley spoke up excitedly as she ran over to hug you, her and Chris were the nicer ones of the bunch.
