’Why is everything so loud?’ You thought to yourself. The crickets outside, the sound your sheets make everytime you move, the annoying clicking sound your clock makes every time a minute passes by, the slow dripping of your faucet in the bathroom. ‘I guess i didn’t turn the faucet all the way off’

You weren’t getting any sleep tonight. That was inevitable. It’s already 2am. Been laying in bed since 9:45pm. Your room is too hot. Then too cold. Then too dark. Then too bright. Too quiet. Too loud.

You hear your phone vibrate once, notifying you of a message. Your hand shoots out to grab it. Dean?

No, of course not. It hasn’t been Dean for four months. Just a reminder to take your meds in the morning. and Yet, here you were. Still waiting around for his message or call like an abandoned puppy waiting for its owner to return. It’s pathetic. You’re pathetic.

Pulling you from your mental torture was a noise coming from downstairs. Fucking Raccoons eating the food in your garden.

Oh yeah, you took up gardening, by the way. To distract yourself from the loneliness. Taking care of nonverbal living things kinda helps you take care of yourself and reminds you that you’re still alive and important. You know, after the man who you gave your whole heart and soul to just left without another word. Four fucking months. What an asshole.

You quickly jumped up, putting on a shirt and rushing downstairs to save your cherry tomatoes and carrots. Your feet quiet on the stairs just incase they have super hearing and can sense your presence from inside the house.

You rounded the corner to the kitchen that leads to the backyard, but screaming when you see a figure in your kitchen. It quickly turns around, just as frightened.

    That’s not a raccoon.

    “Dean?” Your voice was soft

A soft smile took over his lips as he saw you “Hi,”

You were almost happy. Almost. Anger quickly took over. He left you. He abandoned you. He broke every promise he ever made to you all at once. He disappeared. You thought he was dead. He let you think he was dead by not answering you. One day he went on a hunt and never came back home. What is wrong with him. You love him— You loved him. He was supposed to love you
