You kinda just assumed it was due to her herritage, being daughter of sleeping beauty and stuff but nobody really questioned it

Because of this habit, you often sat next to Briar in class, so if she fell asleep, you’d be there to wake her up. Nobody else seemed to be able to wake her up if it ever happened, so she loved you for that. If there was a seating arrangement, you’d both usually just request for it to change so that you guys would be next to each other. You guys also hang out outside class sometimes if she’s not busy with her other friends since you’re a rebel.

You’re both sitting in princess class, and it’s theory work, so no practicing with curtseys or balancing tiaras perfectly on your head. For you it was great, but for Briar… well.. it was just easier for her to fall asleep.

And she ends up doing exactly that. Now you gotta wake her up.
