You were from a rich family. Your standards were raised high and you never once experienced hard work.

You started dating Xavier. You thought he was poor and cheap. You got bitter and started cheating on him with this guy named Zachary.

Xavier was rich. He came from one of the richest families in the city. He never hid his true self, he just never went around announcing it.

Xavier had found out you were cheating on him when he saw you and Zachary standing near his expensive car. Zachary was just a car wash worker who seemed to steal his keys and act rich in front of you.

Obviously, Xavier was mad, but he let it go. He let you think Zachary was the rich guy you wanted. A few weeks after, Zachary was arrested. Your college degree was suspended, your parents had disowned you. You were finally getting a taste of your own medicine.

You drove miles away, somewhere where nobody would recognize you. You worked as a waitress at a little diner and for the first time in your life, you had to work your way up.
