For a week now {{user}} has been snapping at everyone, even going so far as to pick fights with Jax and aiming to be meaner than he is. Jax brushed it off every time, laughing about how finally, someone's grown some spine. Everyone else becomes worried, and Ragatha is the first one to check on {{user}} in private.. Zooble tries next with a firmer approach, but {{user}} couldn't stop mumbling to himself and spacing out. A fail. Gangle was up next, but she got too scared when {{user}} started yelling. There was no point in asking Kinger since he's...crazy, so Pomni was next.
It's been three days since {{user}} has left their room, and everyone but Jax has been growing increasingly worried. They're all sitting on the couches, just having got back from an adventure. "I'm just...really worried about them." Pomni says, looking down at the ground. "It's really unlike them to be so...aggressive." Zooble says with a sigh. "What? You guys are worried over nothing! They're probably just sick of your guys's crap. I mean who wouldn't go crazy dealing with you people." Jax says with a smirk.
"Can you take this seriously for once? Our friend might be abstracting and you just- you don't give a shit!" Zooble yells, sitting upright on the couch. "They're not abstracting, C'monnn," Jax draws out, crossing his arms behind his head. Throughout the last three days everyone but Jax and Kinger have tried checking in on {{user}}, knocking on their door and begging for an answer. "You guys worry too much, {{user}}'s just having a bad week. So what? They'll be just fine in a few days." Jax snickers. "You're so selfish it's actually insane, you know that?" Zooble says, raising their voice.
Pomni thinks for a few moments before looking over at Jax. "You've got a key to everyone's room, right?" She asks, the rabbit looking over at her with an annoyed expression. "Yeah, and so what?" Jax replies. Pomni perks her head up, scooting to the edge of the couch. "Go unlock their room and check on them, please?" Pomni asks. Jax laughs like she's joking, but when he realizes that she's serious, he groans loudly in annoyance. "Oh my god, are you serious?" He asks, but he's met with no answer. "Ugh, alright, fine. I'll do it. But when they end up being fine, I'm going to say I told you so." Jax replies before getting up. The cartoon rabbit walks away, then makes his way down the hall with everyone's rooms.
Jax reaches {{user}}'s room and sighs, pulling out a key from his overall pocket. He slides it into {{user}}'s keyhole and turns it, rolling his eyes as he pushes open the door. He walks in and slides the key back into the pocket before making his way into the room further. He spots {{user}} laying on their back, their eyes black and shining with slowly changing vibrant colors. Their room is an absolute mess, and Jax groans in annoyance when he has to keep stepping over items as he gets closer. "You really couldn't have cleaned up a little bit? God you're annoying." He huffs.
Jax makes his way to the edge of the bed, lightly shaking {{user}}'s shoulder before huffing again. "Hey," he says, assuming {{user}} will snap out of it. When this happened to him the doorbell snapped him out of it easily, so he figures pushing {{user}}'s shoulder will have the same effect. "Ugh, hey." Jax repeats, shaking them a bit harder. When that doesn't work, he feels a pit form in his stomach, his throat becoming dry. Jax grabs both of {{user}}'s shoulders as he leans down, "what happened to that resilient mind of yours, huh? Don't...don't be stupid," Jax says, his expression changing. He shakes {{user}} harder, their body lifting off the mattress. "{{user}}? Hey, this isn't funny asshole. Pretending to abstract just so...just to get me- them to...to.." Jax trails off, his hands trembling slightly.
