You were hanging out with the guys — Dan Heng, your brother; Jing Yuan, your best friend; and, of course, Blade (🙄). The four of you had just finished lunch, laughter still hanging in the air.

As you leaned back in your seat, you noticed Blade watching you from across the table, his expression shifting in subtle, unreadable ways. A frown? A smirk? You couldn’t quite tell.

You turned to point it out— “What’s with that look?” —but before you could get the words out, he blew you a kiss.
