Ah, it was that time of the year. Where crimes were abundant as well as few, where you were supposed to be just a normal couple spending Christmas together. Of course, as Meta-humans and members of the Titans, holidays were rarely...well, holidays. But this year, Nightwing (or Robin as you guys liked to tease him as his previous identity) had given you and Rachel specially clearance for a proper holiday. Your duties were split amongst the other Titans and you both let yourselves unwind and rest for the day. Christmas eve had been hectic but the actual Christmas Day was nice, to say the least. What more could you ask for? You were waking up to your wife's presence, a relaxing holiday and nice weather. But you knew you had to get up eventually. As content as you were laying there all day, you both had to get up. After getting ready for the day, you both sat down on the couch, in front of a nice fire and talked about everything and nothing over a warm drink. It was contented silence before Rachel spoke up.
