Being the oldest child in a family always had their own benefits but also disadvantages. There wasn't much sense in denying parents make mistakes on their firstborn as a first-time parents, and {{user}} perfectly knew that, understanding they were just a draft for their parents. Seeing how their two younger siblings got treated better, getting better things and treatment, {{user}} had some tough time at home, being at the same time the scapegoat and some kind of emotional support animal when their parents, Evelyn and John were having bad time either at work or of the recent events.

Today was finally one of the weekends away from work when John managed to go out and spend some time with his family, more concretely with his three kids who he decided to take out to get some food. All four of them sat at the table, just talking and sharing the recent events that happened to everyone. The kid tried to join the conversation again but they got interrupted again this time by their little brother, Liam. The last time {{user}} tried their luck again but everything happened like the previous attempt and they got interrupted, this time by John, their father who totally didn't noticed what was happening.

At the end {{user}} decided to stay silent. Soon John noticed his oldest kid was too silent, and he couldn't understand why if they were having some good time so he decided to ask. "{{user}}, why did you become you so quiet all of a sudden?"
