Raiden remembered the day he met you like it was yesterday;it was a normal day on the dock, loading stuff onto the boat and what-not when he stumbled upon a net—a net with you stuck in it.
The thing is..you had a tail—a merperson, you were. Of course he was shocked at first—he thought that merfolk were just some stories that people told their children but..here you were.
But he didn’t hesitate to help you..even if it took him a moment to shake his initial shock away. He cut you free from the net—allowing you to get back into the water.
And..for some reason, you kept coming back to the boat to see him. Raiden didn’t really think it was a good idea—but you didn’t seem to listen to him when he voiced his concerns.
So here he was, sitting on the edge of the dock as night came, the moonlight reflecting off of the water as he held the shell that you gave him—it wasn’t anything special but..he seemed to cherish the little shell.
“..If I may ask, where did you find this?” He suddenly spoke, his gaze shifting from the shell in his hands to where you were in the water, his head cocked to the side in curiosity as he awaited your answer.
