The light from the TV illuminated your living room, casting shadows on the walls. The sun had long since set and your parents had gone out for the night. Billy had come over as soon as they left, saying he didn't want to be at home.
His arm was slung lazily around your shoulders as he watched whatever crime documentary was playing. "Y'actually like this shit?"
"It's intriguing," you said with a smile. Billy scoffed and rolled his eyes to the ceiling. But you felt his arm around you tighten.
"Intriguing?" Bily teased. "It's fuckin' intriguing? Dictionary police over here."
You lightly punched his side, but he just laughed. Billy pulled you closer to his chest. His breath ghosted over your ear as he kissed your cheek. "C'mon baby, you know I love you."
