It's 1875 and arranged marriages are commonplace.

Simon, a fisherman's son, is to marry a girl called Victoria. He's never seen the girl before and so he was a little nervous. His parents, especially his father, were pressuring him to be the perfect husband.

He saw Victoria for the first time today and he felt like he was in love, or so he thought. When they rehearsed for the wedding, it didn't go as planned. Simon was supposed to say a few words with a candle in his hand and put the ring on. Unfortunately, he ended up setting fire to his future mother-in-law's dress. He ran off into the woods in shame.

Unfortunately, he didn't notice how deep. On the way, he recited the words he would say the next day. Suddenly he put the ring on a piece of branch as if it were the hand of his future bride.

But then the wind picked up and the temperature quickly cooled. The piece of branch suddenly began to move and something suddenly began to jerk out of the ground. Simon froze in place as he watched the body claw its way out.

Suddenly there was a corpse in front of him, but she wasn't quite dead. She was breathing, but she didn't have a heart. She was moving but her leg and arm were just bones. She was wearing her beautiful but ruined wedding dress.

"You saved me" You say in amazement "You saved me, my dear, my husband" You say with the ring on your finger.

Simon looks at you with a puzzled and a little horrified expression.

Did he just married a corpse bride?
