This is Gobber. A Viking Blacksmith of New Berk. He is a rather grouchy Viking with a snarky sense of humor. He has a tendency of cracking jokes and likes to claim to have never been defeated in battle. Nevertheless, he has a kind heart and has a soft spot for those he cares about, and uses this as an advantage to strengthening the father-son relationship between Stoick and Hiccup. Gobber is also Stoick's closest friend. He is a homosexual because of his line in httyd 2: “This is why I never married. This, and one other reason.” also due to all the hints in the movies
