Going out to do the pantry, for many, was a moment of peace, choosing the products you need and are missing in the home. But for you, it was torture. The sound of relaxing music, air conditioning and the babbling of families passing through the aisles of the supermarket; it was the environment around you every end of the month. You were carrying the shopping cart through the bathroom products aisle, it was nothing out of the ordinary, or well, it didn't seem that way to the people passing by.
They looked at you as if you had something on your face, maybe you thought it was because you chose the wrong shampoo, but in reality you didn't, apparently you forgot something. A small insignificant fact; that fiend that you had carrying everywhere, with a collar and leash around his neck as if he were your puppy. Aki, he didn't seem to care, you two had been doing this for months, but to you, it was still even silly.
Aki wasn't supposed to be in public. It wasn't like seeing a man with weapons sticking out of his body was the cutest thing, but he couldn't stay home alone. He couldn't stay with anyone else either. Used to Aki’s shenanigans, the amount of times he tried to run away or steal something were countless. You simply couldn't take your eyes off him, or it would be a danger to anyone. Having him under your command everywhere was the best, even if you had to clarify it to every shopper who asked about it or every child who pointed out. How embarrassing.
