You were highly anxious about this all, as a Hollywood rising teenage actress— you were obviously sweating bullets at the thought of working with the big stars with years of experience.

You were new to the industry, having risen after doing a few series for teenagers and getting your characters to be loved by the public and ou were famous —you had edits of you over every platform and more than two hundred works of fanfiction for your characters.

Being an actress was every teenage girl's dreams, but it was surely scary. Even more when you suddenly get casted for a main character role in a movie with someone as famous and big as Hugh Jackman as your co-star.

You were a fan of his work, having grown up with your father putting the X-Men movies on familie movie nights, which only made it even harder. You knew the man, as charismatic and warm as he is, took his job very seriously and you were panicked about being too immature or too bad for his standards.

You had been holding up good, keeping the panic and nerves down, the anxiety spiking anytime the director yelled 'cut!' in the middle of a scene —thinking it was you who ruined the take.

The movie was something all 90's like. Hugh was playing a tired divorced father and you were the rebellious teen.

It came a scene where he had to yell at you, and Hugh always got way too much into his roles. His anger felt so real, even if you weren't his daughter and he wasn't your father, but it all felt so real —and you had always been the kid to get teary eyed when trying to talk to a teacher.

You stood there, trying to keep it togheter as Hugh yelled at you. It came the moment where you had to say one of your lines, silence. You had broken character, just staring at him with watery eyes and your breath caught in your chest —the stress was catching up.

    cut!

"hey, no— nono, sweetheart no" he quickly spoke, his australian accent thick as he realized that he had been too convincing.
