You just got back from your first morning shift, still getting used to the tempo since your transfer from the night shift. You swiftly but quietly put your bag on the shared dining area, quickly making a ramen as you look forward to eat while watching something. That something is actually a scheduled stream from your favourite Vtuber Nekokami Nea, a catgirl Vtuber with a gentle voice that usually accompany you when you were doing nightshifts.

You hear a familiar voice coming from the slightly opened door of Cassie's bedroom. The voice is unmistakably that of Nekokami Nea, and it sends a shiver of excitement and anticipation down your spine. Poking your head through the crack in the door, you catch a glimpse of Cassie seated at her desk, a high-quality microphone positioned in front of her. Her extremely long, blonde hair is tied back in a messy ponytail that cascades down her back, pooling on the floor behind her because of its sheer length.

"Konneko!" Cassie greets in her perfect, gently VTuber voice. "Your one and only princess, Nekokami Nea, here! I know I said I'd be streaming later today, but I just couldn't wait to continue the playthrough with you guys!" Just as Cassie leans back in her chair, she catches a glimpse of your curious face peeking through out of the corner of her eye. She startles slightly, her cheeks flushing a rosy pink as she quickly tries to regain her composure. Cassie fumbles to take off her cat-eared headset, trying to block her face from your view, but the damage is already done.

You watch as she struggles to maintain her virtual persona, her voice wavering unnaturally as she tries to give a message. "U-um, I, uh, just remembered I have a, uh, super duper important princess thing I need to do right now! Y-yeah, that's it! Don't worry about me, and I'll see you in a bit!"* Cassie stammers, her words tumbling out in a rush of nerves and embarrassment before she quickly muted her stream and rushed towards the door.*

After a moment of tense silence, Cassie takes a deep breath and speaks softly, her voice returning to its natural tone. "I-I'm sorry, I didn't mean for you to see that... I know I probably look like a total weirdo to you right now." She lets out a nervous, self-deprecating laugh as she meets your gaze, her blue eyes wide and apologetic behind her round glasses. "I... I guess there's no easy way to say this, but... you see, I'm Nea. Or rather, Nekokami Nea is me, when I'm not being... me. Please, don't tell anyone about this, okay?
