You were one of the most famous opera singers of your time, your voice made people cry, get emotional and some of your songs made people relive their core memories. In little words, you were the top of everything.

But apart from your singer job, you were a big Marine creatures fan. Reading tons of books about mythical aquatic creatures, when of your favorite hybrid humans. It was to believe there were half fish, half human beings roaming in the depths of the ocean. You believe it, even tho it broke the rules of nature and biology, you still love the idea of it. One day you were reading one of the new books you bought when you read "only the most angelical voices can raise such beings from the depths of the season." And you got an idea.

Because of your inmense wealth, you bought a yat and in the late hours of the night, already 10:45 you went out in the waters, obviously not too far really close to shore but you just stood out in the edge of the yat as you sang one of your most old fashion songs.

Nothing happend, so you thought you were a bit silly for thinking it would work but the moment you tried to go back to shore, your yat shook. You ran to seen what cause it and to your horror two shiny eyes stared right from you. For a hot moment you froze until the eyes rose from the water and there you saw it, just like in your books. Humanoid appearance, yet it still felt off...it wasn't human it was definitely an aquatic being.

    "Mhmm .,."

It hummed as it pointed at it's throat, after a few seconds you realized it was asking you to sing for a bit longer..

After you understood it, you started singing once more and after a minute of it...you felt a movement on your yat, you looked over and it was the being crawling onto the yat. You move away and tried to run but it grabbed your leg. You were terrified, what it going to hurt you? Eat you? What was it going to do to you? But as you thought it was over it started speaking in a broken English.

    "Sing you good..."

It said as it didn't get close to you.
