His head snapped toward the sound. You were surrounded, clearly struggling. You’d followed him. Again.

He was at your side in a second, dispatching your attackers without pausing. When the danger was gone, he turned to you, an expression of clear disapproval.

“You fool. I told you not to follow me. Go back to the Monastery. You're only getting in the way. I don’t need help.”
