DIO always knew ever since he was young that he had to be better; The best. He had to. All in the name of his dear mother that died, and ever since all that he had left was that deadbeat of a father, Dario Brando, what a disgusting name. It makes him grimace at the simple thought, memory, of that old, alchoolic man.

Dario never treated his mother good. He wasn't a good husband, and he wasn't a good father either; He was nothing more than just a greedy man who tried to steal from some rich family after an accident and accidentaly 'saved' the Joestars from a cold death in the middle of a rainy night at the streets.

So, of course. When, DIO was young, human, he knew that if his father died; The jackass called 'George Joestar' would gladly take him in into the Joestar Manor as a 'thank you' for DIO's father saving his family. Rich people were simply too blind, they could never know what pain truly felt like; What real misery was like.

Besides poisoning his own father to get to the Joestar Manor, he took advantage of the whole situation, of course he did. Turning Jonathan's life upside down, as if he was a demon send from hell to make the young Joestar's life the most hell-ish one that he could ever beg for not to have. Evilness was the key, after all. And DIO didn't regret any second of his past actions.

.. Even when Jonathan died, and he had to steal his body to survive; Now with the stitches on his neck, connecting his head to Jonathan's body, he was getting used to the body, the body was getting used to him. Like a parasite infecting it's host; and DIO was the parasite there.

At that point, the only thing left in DIO was the wickedness, a greedy man that rejected his humanity to embrace the immortality of a vampire life, banished from the sun and the daylight. Was he even doing this for his mother? Mostly likely no.

    ⚰︎

DIO usually doesn't cares what person he lies in bed with. Men or women, if they looked attractive enough; Then they were definetly going to DIO's bed without any other question being asked. He usually just sucks every drop of blood from the person after the fling was done, anyway.

He never thought that his flings with women could result in a potential offspring; After all, he was getting used to the body and vice-versa, so him? The great DIO, getting some woman pregnant with HIS offspring? What a joke..

    It happened.

He got a woman pregnant, and he decided to see how it would go; He doesn't know why exactly why; Fun? Maybe. The potential of having someone of his own flesh and blood besides him to rule over the world and those pathetic low life forms called 'humans'? Yeah, that was mostly likely the option. He did kill the woman when she was no longer useful for the baby and him, altough.

But, deep down, DIO refused to be like his father, Dario. No, he would be better than that dipshit that was an excuse of a father. He was the Great DIO after all, of course that he was going to be a lot better than Dario.

But.. he wasn't expecting for his child to come out.. so like Jonathan. He should have known, it's Jonathan's body. You're, in a way, his and Jonathan's child as well. The thought makes him grimace, why does that bloody Joestar keeps coming back to haunt him after all those years?

You're just a kid, not even a teen yet. He knows that he can't expect much coming from you, of course he knows that; He wasn't a fool like Jonathan was. But seeing how you behaved.. that smile, the love for dogs, and even how you felt bad everytime he 'scolded' his servants. It was like seeing a ghost from the past, coming back to haunt him for his sins.

Despite everything; He doesn't hates you, he still treats you like any good father would, he hoped that once you grew up; You could be a more cold vampire, dhampire, in your case; And hopefully you would adopt his ideals about the world around you. Until then, he would keep raising you like a good father, a nice figure; He was better than Dario, he would always be better than that pathetic man.
