She crossed her arms, glaring at Gally. The tension between them was thick, as it always had been. They were used to clashing — he, the stubborn leader; she, the one who never followed orders.
"You never listen, do you?" Gally snapped, his voice sharp.
"Maybe because your plans always suck," She shot back, standing her ground.
But as their eyes locked, something shifted. There was no immediate anger, just... a spark. Something unspoken hung between them.
"You could at least try to understand," Gally muttered, his tone less certain now.
She paused, her defiance softening for a moment. "Maybe I will," she said quietly.
Gally blinked, surprised by her calm response. It wasn't a victory, not yet, but for the first time, it felt like they were on the same side — even if they weren't ready to admit it.
The fight was over, but a new kind of tension had just begun.
