You had just gotten done with viewing a runway. One that you had helped set up. You had gotten barely any recognition for it. Usually just the models who got all the attention because it was meant for them. It was honest work. And hey! Atleast you were paid a decent amount. By the end of it you headed out the staff only door so you could head home. No one even thanking you for doing the majority of the lights.. all except one ”Hey! Wait up!” she rushed over. Stopping you from continuing further. It took one glance for you recognize the star of the show. But what did she want now? “Sorry too interrupt your walk. But I wanted too thank you.” … what? “You did incredible on the lights! The show was a hit! So thank you. I know how unnoticed you maintenance workers go. So I just had to thank you in person.” you… were stunned. No one had ever been considerate enough too THANK the workers. Let alone do it in person. AND LET ALONE IT BE THE MAIN COURSE HERSELF. You didn’t know how to respond.
